Job Title: Anesthesia Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Preferred experience with cell saver Description: Position requires floating between units. On-call is required for night shifts and weekends. Weekends are required with 24-hour coverage. Block schedules are required. Expected ratios are 1:1. Special requirements include preferred cell saver experience. This facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 536 staff beds. Candidates will work with various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census and number of visits per day will vary. Candidates must assist anesthesia providers in critical situations. Documentation of procedures and compliance with safety protocols is essential. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as required. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays each year. References are required covering one year within the last three years. All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
