Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates with only 1 year of experience will need to be reviewed by the manager. Must have experience in patient ratios of 4:1. Candidates must have experience in charting systems and have knowledge of various procedures. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a mixed acuity environment. The role includes caring for patients undergoing orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. The nurse will manage patients in critical and post-surgical settings. Responsibilities include arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care. The nurse must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips. Experience with telemonitoring and wound care is essential. The position requires floating to different units as needed. The candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills and teamwork within an interdisciplinary environment. Availability for weekends and flexibility with scheduling is necessary. All candidates must comply with credentialing and fingerprinting requirements promptly. References from previous supervisors or managers are required for application consideration. Travel experience is preferred, and former employees are eligible after a designated time away from the facility. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
