Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience, including procedures such as CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer. Positive attitude. Description: Travelers must have Cardiac Cath experience. All candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Unit information includes patient population primarily focusing on cardiac geriatrics. The number of beds is defined by unit capacity with patient ratios as RN 1:5. Equipment includes but is not limited to Pacer Alines, and EHR is managed via EPIC. Candidates may float to 1:1 assignments depending on unit needs. The facility offers a wide range of specialties, including trauma services, surgical services, and various cancer and cardiac care programs. Additional requirements include fingerprints for child abuse history clearance and standard fingerprinting processes. Dress code mandates scrubs in any color, while restrictions apply to specific attire like hoodies and excessive piercings.
